Track Name: Habitual Smoker Blues
Romance is gone, romance is dead,
it killed itself the night you left.
In tongues we talk of lust we lost,
back in her arms,
back in her arms.
I get so wired I cannot sleep,
I get so tired, I get so beat.
Struggle to think when I'm excited,
these emotions created by you,
you pick me up, you drag me down
you're both natural, like plants in the ground
you knock me out without a sound.
You're good for my mind but bad for my body.

If I can't love, then maybe you'll be
a replacement for a missing piece,
a sliver of sun in bad weather,
you are my love and my oppressor.

Track Name: Distance Blues
We tried, at least we can say we tried,
I can honestly say that we gave it our best.
I'm tired of begging and pleading,
if you don't understand then you don't have much sense.
Making a stand against all your ignorance,
if you're still confused you don't see the significance.
For one last time we'll try for the hit,
if this ones a failure I'll probably split.
When is our chance? When is our time?
When the sun chooses to reveal itself,
this place is not a bad place to stay,
turns your hands to gold, and chases the blues away.
The distance between us is literal,
but our attachment to here is physical,
it's not without its disappointment (but what can I say)
resentment and worry it's the Scottish way.
When you return I'll be driven,
towards my fate in the sky,
the lines are all drawn, the directions not clear,
but at least we can say that we tried.
This distance. These blues.
